Inspection Reports
Meadows Court Care Home is a registered care home with the Care Quality Commission to provide residential care to people over 65 years old, both male and female, whose needs fall within the categories of Dementia, Mental Disorder and Old Age not falling under any other category, for a maximum occupancy of 22 residents.
The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Their aim is to make sure better care is provided for everyone, whether that’s in hospital, in care homes, in people's own homes, or elsewhere.
They also seek to protect the interests of people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act.
The CQC make sure that essential common standards of quality are met everywhere care is provided, from hospitals to private care homes, and work towards their improvement. They also promote the rights and interests of people who use care services and have a wide range of enforcement powers to take action on the service user’s behalf if services are unacceptably poor.
